First time this type of bus has been on such a route?

I don't think 2465 was, 2465 is a Speke Bus and a Myllenium. I take it you mean 2565.

One of GL's new Pulsars was on the 7A tonight, passed it in Cronton.
Never caught the number but I think the reg was MX13AMO

MX13 AMO was on 6/7's in the afternoon so it was most probably the one you saw

GL unusually have Pulsar 2, 3077 working 68 this morning.

i dont think its been said but ex arriva green lane 2402 is reported as being with a company in layland in the buses mag glad this bus was sold on as i felt it could do more service work

What a horrible bus 2402 is. Had to endure the pleasures of it on many occasions when it was a regular on the 79. In fact the trio of 2401/2/3 were absolutely horrid things.

i liked 2402, i think it had a cracking engine in it, hope the new firm does look at the rattles tho as that does let it down a bit
