Probably just helping out with Xmas shopping etc, RF should have a few spare buses with the schools finishing. Thought they might have been used on the X1. What’s going to happen when the Mersey Metro kicks in and RF will likely close? Can’t just keep it open for one route?

The trips that Chester do X1 will becoming decker operated next month plus more may be coming for the 84

I was always under the impression that RF was to remain open. The 1 would continue to operate from there and the paint shop facilities would continue to be used. Not sure if that was dependent on being successful in winning scholars and/or not winning Laird Street.

It would seem that the Wirral Metro will be run from LS with them looking to expand the depot. RF is prime housing space unfortunately and it would massive shame to see it close. All just speculation of course.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Stagecoach aren’t allowed to operate any services from RF with Chester running the 1 & X1.
