From 28th October the 33 Tender from Manchester to Wigan is Withdrawn, Its replacement is an Eve/Sun Tendered 132 Service between Wigan and The Trafford Centre, I am not sure if this 132 will be operated by Diamond Bus but am sure we will soon find out Content Creator, make sure to follow, Like and Subscribe! https://linktr.ee/TerencePrice |

Apart from the 113, the 33 is/will be Wigan's last bus link to any city although of course there are trains to Manchester but given Northern's recent/current performance, it's hardly the last word in reliability. |

If this is the same one that's based at Atherton then I wonder whether Atherton were covering a duty again on Altrincham locals, I don't know how many Atherton drivers actually know Altrincham routes but I know one of their leading driver's does and has covered the late duties regular in the past. |

TfGM proposing replacement hourly service with service re-routed via The Avenue and Holden Road. October 2018: 33/132 (Operator TBC): TfGM proposing replacing existing evening/Sunday journeys on service 33 between Wigan and Manchester with service 132 between Wigan and intu Trafford Centre and service 33 between Eccles and Manchester with a couple of journeys running to/from Worsley. Sunday daytime service would be reduced to hourly.
