X30 officially back to Runcorn depot from 21st Jan

2530/2546 have been converted to bike buses to operate a free shuttle between Runcorn, Doctors Bridge and Widnes, West Bank whilst the Silver Jubilee Bridge is closed. The service operates every 15 mins between 07:00 and 17:00 Mon - Fri.

Is this temporary? I'm guessing that after the SJB fully reopens they will be converted back as it seems a bit of a waste.

I thought the Silver Jubilee Bridge was to remain open to pedestrians and cyclists throughout its refurbishment. Has that changed?
