June's changes:


Lancaster Services
Service 1/1A Heysham – Morecambe – Lancaster – University
From 29 June 2025 Stagecoach will revise the route and timetable, extending the route within the University to Alexandra Park during University holidays, instead of Service 100.

Service 2X Heysham – Morecambe – Lancaster – University
From 29 June 2025 Stagecoach will revise timetable, adjusting AM peak journeys to improve service reliability.

Service 4/X4 Heysham – Morecambe – Lancaster – University
From 29 June 2025 Stagecoach will revise timetable, adjusting AM peak journeys to improve service reliability.

Service 100 Morecambe – Lancaster – University
From 29 June 2025 Stagecoach will revise the route and timetable, terminating the route at University Underpass during University holidays, with Service 1A extending to Alexandra Park instead.

Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Services

Service 7 Blackpool – Cleveleys
From 8 June 2025 Blackpool Transport will revise the timetable, adjusting the Monday to Saturday daytime service to generally operate every 30 minutes. Evenings and Sunday service will generally operate every 60 minutes.

Service 7A Blackpool – Bispham – Cleveleys
From 8 June 2025 Blackpool Transport, in partnership with Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council utilising funding from HM Government, will revise the timetable, increasing the Monday to Saturday daytime service to generally operate every 12 minutes AM peak and every 15 minutes throughout the rest of the day. Evenings and Sunday service will also be increased to generally operate every 30 minutes.

Service 11 Blackpool – St.Annes – Lytham
From 8 June 2025 Blackpool Transport will revise the timetable, increasing the Monday to Saturday daytime service to generally operate every 20 minutes. Evenings and Sunday service will generally operate every 30 minutes.

Service 11A Blackpool – St.Annes – Lytham – Saltcotes
From 8 June 2025 Blackpool Transport will revise the route and timetable, adjusting the route between St.Annes and Lytham to operate via Clifton Drive North. The Monday to Saturday daytime service will generally operate every 30 minutes. Evenings and Sunday service will generally operate every 60 minutes.

Service 11B Blackpool – Spring Gardens – St.Annes – Lytham – Saltcotes
From 8 June 2025 Blackpool Transport, in partnership with Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council utilising funding from HM Government, will revise the timetable, restoring the Monday to Saturday daytime service to generally operate every 30 minutes. Evenings and Sunday service will generally operate every 60 minutes.

July's changes:


Preston, South Ribble and Chorley Services

From 20 July 2025 Lancashire County Council, utilising funding from HM Government through the Bus Service Improvement Plan, will introduce further bus service timetable enhancements throughout the Preston, South Ribble and Chorley areas, including the provision of extra Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday journeys across key sections of the routes, passengers can take advantage of the £1 evening and Sunday single fare. These revisions also incorporate some minor route adjustments following customer feedback from the service revisions in March.

The following bus services revisions will be introduced:
Service 112 Preston – Bamber Bridge – Clayton Brook – Leyland – Midge Hall

The county council will revise the route and timetable, adjusting the route in Leyland following customer requests, rerouting the service between Tesco and Golden Hill Lane via Hough Lane and Churchill Way, instead of School Lane.

There will be minor revisions to the timetable to facilitate this small route adjustment.

Holmeswood Coaches will continue to operate the service on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Service 114 Chorley – Clayton Brook – Leyland – Penwortham – Preston

The county council will revise the route and timetable, introducing a new Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday daytime service between Chorley and Leyland/Farington Moss.

Following customer requests, there will be a minor route adjustment in Leyland, rerouting the service between Tesco and Golden Hill Lane via Hough Lane and Churchill Way, instead of School Lane.

The additional Monday to Saturday evening journeys will be as follows:

2022, 2152 & 2322 from Chorley to Leyland;

2107 & 2227 from Leyland to Chorley

The new Sunday daytime service will operate generally every hour on the section of route between Chorley and Farington Moss. There will be minor changes to the Monday to Saturday daytime service timetable to facilitate the small route adjustment to serve Leyland Hough Lane.

RS Tyrer will continue to operate the Monday to Saturday service and Preston Bus will operate the new Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday daytime service, both on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Service 115 Chorley – Buckshaw Village – Leyland – Croston – Longton – Preston

The county council will revise the route and timetable, introducing a new Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday daytime service between Preston and Longton.

There will be a minor route adjustment between Buckshaw Village and Chorley Hospital to operate via Euxton Lane and Central Drive to Buckshaw Avenue, instead of Preston Road, to serve the new housing communities in this area. Customers from Buckshaw Avenue can continue to access the service within Buckshaw Village or other frequent services on the A6 Preston Road.

The additional evening and Sunday daytime service will operate generally every hour on the section of route between Preston and Longton. There will be no changes to the Monday to Saturday daytime service timetable.

Vision Bus will continue to operate the service on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Service 347 Chorley – Eccleston – Croston – Mawdesley – Banks – Southport

The county council will revise the timetable, introducing a new Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday daytime service between Chorley and Croston.

The additional evening and Sunday daytime service will operate generally every hour on the section of route between Chorley and Croston. There will be no changes to the Monday to Saturday daytime service.

Vision Bus will continue to operate the Monday to Saturday service, including the new evening journeys, and Preston Bus will operate new the Sunday service, both on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Service 1 Preston – Ribbleton – Grimsargh – Longridge
Service 1A Preston – Ribbleton – Red Scar

From 20 July 2025 Stagecoach will revise the route and timetable, extending Service 1A journeys to Red Scar James Hall Roundabout. The timetables of Services 1 & 1A will be adjusted for the summer holiday period.
Service 19/19A Lea/Larches – Preston City Centre – Royal Preston Hospital

From 20 July 2025 Preston Bus, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, utilising funding from HM Government through the Bus Service Improvement Plan, will revise the timetable enhancing the daily evening service.

The enhanced daily evening service journeys will operate generally every 30 minutes throughout the route, with alternate journeys to Lea or Larches.
West Lancs Services
Trainlink Service 319 Skelmersdale – Headbolt Lane Station – Kirkby

From 20 July 2025 Lancashire County Council will revise the timetable, with adjustments of up to 15 minutes to improve overall service reliability and connectivity with other local bus services serving Skelmersdale allowing for enhanced onward journeys.

Preston Bus will take over from Stagecoach to operate this service on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Blackburn Services
Service HS1 Blackburn and Burnley Hospitals Shuttle

From 21 July 2025 Moving People will revise the timetable, enhancing the service linking Blackburn and Burnley Town Centres and Hospitals to run also on Saturdays and Sundays.

The service will operate daily, up to every hour, between 0600 and 2000.
Burnley Services
Service 8 Burnley – Weir – Bacup

From 20 July 2025 Rosso, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, utilising funding from HM Government through the Bus Service Improvement Plan, will revise the timetable introducing a new Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday daytime service.

The additional evening and Sunday daytime service will operate generally every hour between Burnley and Bacup Town Centre. There will be no changes to the Monday to Saturday daytime service.
Service 152 Burnley – Blackburn – Preston

From 20 July 2025 The Blackburn Bus Company, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, utilising funding from HM Government through the Bus Service Improvement Plan, will revise the timetable introducing a new later Monday to Saturday evening return journey between Blackburn and Burnley.

The 2200 Monday to Saturday journey from Preston to Blackburn will now extend to Burnley departing Blackburn at 2240 arriving in Burnley at 2322. A new 2328 Burnley to Blackburn will be introduced, arriving Blackburn at 0010. This will replace the Service M2 between Burnley and Padiham.

Odd how Preston Bus will operate the 319. Wonder what buses they'll use and will they be rebranded to TrainLink.

Not to sure how true this is but I'm led to believe Prestonbus might be getting some more MMC200s to operate 319s or maybe they'll use the ones they've already got

Until new E200MMCs arrive, 5 x 8.8m and 2 9.7m, Preston Bus will use their current fleet

From 31 August 2025, Stagecoach will revise the timetable, introducing timing adjustments at AM & PM peak periods to fit in with revised start/end times at Preston College, and several other timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Services
Service 21 Cleveleys – Blackpool – St.Annes

From 1 September 2025 Transpora will revise the timetable, adjusting general journey times.
Blackpool Transport Network Revisions

From 31 August 2025, Blackpool Transport will make the following revisions to their bus services:
Service 1 Fleetwood – Cleveleys – Blackpool

The timetable will be revised, reducing running time for the winter period and maintaining the general frequency every 30 minutes.
Service 2 Cala Gran – Cleveleys – Blackpool – Zoo

The timetable will be revised, adjusting the times by approximately 20 minutes to provide improved service along Blackpool Promenade in partnership with Service 1.
Service 3a Cleveleys Park – Cleveleys – Blackpool – Mereside

The timetable will be revised, adjusting the times in the AM & PM on schooldays.
Service 5 Halfway House – Blackpool – Victoria Hospital – Poulton – Cleveleys

The route and timetable will be revised, extending the service from Poulton through to Cleveleys via Thornton. Certain AM & PM peak journeys will serve Blackpool & Fylde College instead of Thornton.

This extension will operate generally every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime.
Service 5a Halfway House – Blackpool – Victoria Hospital – Staining

In partnership with Lancashire County Council and Blackpool Council utilising funding from HM Government through the Bus Service Improvement Plan, the route and timetable will be revised, with the introduction of an hourly Sunday daytime extension to Staining. The route will be adjusted to additionally serve Midgeland Road from Halfway House via Progress Way.
Service 5c Blackpool – Victoria Hospital – Poulton – Knott End

The route and timetable will be revised, in partnership with Lancashire County Council and Blackpool Council utilising funding from HM Government through the Bus Service Improvement Plan, increasing frequency to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime and hourly evenings and Sundays. The route in Blackpool Town Centre will be revised to serve St John’s Square in both directions.
Service 6 Grange Park – Blackpool – Mereside – (Peel Park)

The route and timetable will be revised, increasing the frequency of the Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday service to every 30 minutes. The Monday to Saturday daytime frequency will be maintained at generally every 20 minutes

The extension journeys to Peel Park will be reduced and Whitehills will be withdrawn completely and replaced by the extension to Service 18.
Service 7 Cleveleys – Blackpool

The timetable will be revised, increasing the Monday to Friday daytime frequency to operate up to every 20 minutes. The service will operate up to every 30 minutes at weekends.
Service 7a Cleveleys – Bispham – Blackpool

The timetable will be revised, introducing additional running time across the route to improve overall service reliability.
Service 11 Lytham St.Annes – Blackpool

The timetable will be revised, introducing timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Service 11a Lytham St.Annes – Blackpool

The timetable will be revised, introducing minor timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Service 14 Fleetwood – Blackpool

The timetable will be revised, introducing minor timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability. An additional later Monday to Saturday evening journey will be introduced from Blackpool to Fleetwood departing at 2340.
Service 18 Blackpool – South Shore - Mereside – Victoria Hospital

The route and timetable will be revised, extending the service to serve Whitehills to replace Service 6.
Preston, South Ribble and Chorley Services
Stagecoach network revisions

From 31 August 2025, Stagecoach will make the following revisions to their bus services:
Service 1 Preston – Ribbleton – Grimsargh – Longridge
Service 1A Preston – Ribbleton – Red Scar

The timetable will be revised, introducing several minor timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability. There will an additional PM school bus from Longridge High School and one AM and PM Service 1 journey (numbered 1C) will be extended to serve Preston College.
Service X2 Preston – Southport – Liverpool

The timetable will be revised, increasing the service to operate up to every 30 minutes throughout the whole route, and other minor timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Service 3 Preston – Penwortham – Kingsfold

The timetable will be revised, introducing minor adjustments to some evening timings to improve overall service reliability.
Service 9 Preston – Moor Nook

The timetable will be revised, introducing several minor timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Service 59 Preston – Blackburn – Royal Blackburn Hospital – Accrington

The timetable will be revised, introducing timing adjustments at AM & PM peak periods to fit in with revised start/end times at Preston College and Cardinal Newman College, and several other timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Service 61 Preston – Kirkham – Blackpool

The route and timetable will be revised, adjusting the route in the Ashton area of Preston to operate via Tulketh Road (outbound) or Egerton Road (inbound) instead of Service 68.

There will introducing timing adjustments at AM & PM peak periods to fit in with revised start/end times at Preston College and Cardinal Newman College, and several other timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Service 68 Preston – Lytham St.Annes – Blackpool

The route and timetable will be revised, adjusting the route in the Ashton area of Preston to operate via Tulketh Brown & Lane Ends instead of Service 61.

There will introducing timing adjustments at AM & PM peak periods to fit in with revised start/end times at Preston College and Cardinal Newman College, and several other timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Service 111 Preston – Leyland – Moss Side

The timetable will be revised, introducing timing adjustments at AM & PM peak periods to fit in with revised start/end times at Preston College, and several other timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
Service 125 Royal Preston Hospital – Preston – Chorley – Bolton

The timetable will be revised, introducing several minor timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.
West Lancs Services
Service 311 Ormskirk – Skelmersdale – Wrightington – Standish – Chorley

From 31 August 2025 Lancashire County Council, utilising funding from HM Government through our Bus Service Improvement Plan, will revise the route and timetable, extending the service from Wrightington Hospital to create a new cross borough public transport link between Ormskirk, Skelmersdale and Chorley.

Following requests from local communities, the route of Service 311 will be extended to serve the Coppull Moor area of Chorley and create new direct links to Ormskirk and Wrightington Hospitals, and surrounding areas to both Standish and Chorley. The diversion in Hall Green via the Deardon Way/Mayfield Road area will now be served by Service 312.

This service will operate between Ormskirk and Chorley via Ormskirk Hospital, Lathom, Ashurst, Birch Green, Skelmersdale, Tanhouse, Hall Green, Appley Bridge, Wrightington Hospital, Shevington Moor, Standish and Coppull Moor.

The service will operate generally every hour during Monday to Saturday daytime and combine with Service 312 to operate every half hour between Ashurst, Skelmersdale and Up Holland.

Preston Bus will continue to operate this service on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Service 312 Ormskirk – Burscough – Skelmersdale – Rainford

From 31 August 2025 Lancashire County Council will revise the route and timetable, adjusting the route in Burscough between the town centre and Ringtail Retail Park to serve the new housing off Chancel Way.

This service will operate between Ormskirk and Rainford via Burscough, Newburgh, Parbold, Ashurst, Birch Green, Skelmersdale, Digmoor, Hall Green, Up Holland and Crawford.

The route deviation in Hall Green via the Deardon Way/Mayfield Road area will be revised to only operate between 0930 & 1530 Monday to Friday, due to difficulties accessing the area.

The service will operate generally every hour during Monday to Saturday daytime and combine with Service 311 to operate every half hour between Ashurst, Skelmersdale and Up Holland.

Preston Bus will continue to operate this service on behalf of Lancashire County Council.

The Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday daytime Service 312 journeys between Skelmersdale and Ashurst, operated by Arriva in partnership with the county council, will be unaffected.
Service 375/385 Southport – Ormskirk – Skelmersdale – Wigan

From 31 August 2025 Arriva will revise the timetable, increasing the frequency of Service 375 to provide a combined headway in both directions, with Service 385, of up to every 20 minutes between the key towns on the route.
Blackburn, Hyndburn, Burnley & Rossendale Services
Service 481 Blackburn – Haslingden – Rawtenstall – Bury
Service 483 Burnley – Water – Rawtenstall – Bury
Service X41 Accrington – Haslingden – Ramsbottom – Manchester
Service X43 Burnley – Rawtenstall – Manchester

From 31 August 2025 Transdev will revise the timetables of these services, introducing several minor timing adjustments to improve overall service reliability.

Yes. The Preston to Southport section was increased to 30 minutes some months ago.
So this will restore the route to pre-covid levels.
