Sounds like a fitting finale to the first generation metrolink trams , last time I looked at the link for this there was about 89 tickets left out of 180.

This will probably be sold out by the middle of tomorrow .

The T68 sets are the ones that where earmarked to operate the shuttle service between Bury and Abraham Moss , whilst the Manchester Victoria stop was being rebuilt for the Second City Crossing .

The Abraham Moss service has from my knowledge mostly used the newer sets , so the powers that be have finally said times up for the T68's.

Its sad to see them go but we have to progress onwards and ever upwards .

Time to look forward to the rebuilt Manchester Victoria Stop , Second City Crossing and the Manchester Airport Extension.
