Went past both Metrolink depots today.
Could not see 1007 at Old Trafford (was there last Friday -7/11). Also it looks like that 1003 is at the rear of Queens Road Depot.
Am I correct?

Tram 3090 was noted on the Manchester Airport service on Tuesday. Also noted on the same service were 3053/80/88/89.

Are doubles allowed on the Eccles line now ?

With the old stock it was always the preserve of single units .

They currently do not operate on the Ashton to Eccles line.

Suprise today!
A double unit was seen at Deansgate/Castlefield station destination Eccles via Media City.
I think they were 3025/3028.
I cannot remember last time I saw a double on this service if at all.

New tram 3092 arrived at Queens Road Depot on 22 November.

3091 was on Cornbrook - Airport services yesterday (29 Nov.), whilst 3089 was doing Rochdale - East Didsbury. Apart from the Airport line, many trams (in all directions) were heavily loaded yesterday afternoon. I expect that it will take a few months for passenger numbers to increase on the Airport line.

Oh what a day metrolink has had today .

At one point all lines had been suspended due to ice on the overhead wires , services started to be restored from around 12.00.

I think TfGM will want to understand the problems from todays disruption as this would or should have been one of there busiest days in Manchester. This seems to be a regular occurrence when there is a little bit of a frost these days .

Time to ensure Metrolink runs properly before opening any more lines , I think.

Customers are advised that from Sunday 11 January, Arriva is withdrawing its ML1 shuttle bus link between the Stretford Metrolink stop and the intu Trafford Centre.

Therefore, tickets from Metrolink ticket machines to the intu Trafford Centre will no longer be available.

However, there are alternative connecting bus services running from the nearby bus stop on Edge Lane (22, 23, 23A and 297).
