128 tracking on the 88 today - that's naughty on a contracted service that's supposed to have 28/35 seaters minimum. Even worse it's look like it only finished up on the 88 because 43 failed yesterday, which also is non-compliant unless they've been given a special exemption since the contract was awarded.

The shortage of big buses is becoming obvious. 54 ran one of the 82 services to John Deanes this morning and 128 is on the 130. That only one seat more than the Arriva Mellors, which shocked everyone when one made an appearance on the 130.

139 returned to service yesterday on the 8 and it's on the 82 today.
Looks like 129 may have failed. It's not tracked since the 10:15 Macclesfield to Wythenshawe and there's only 2 vehicles tracking on the 130 at present.

Looks like it failed again today. It didn't complete the 10:45 Macclesfield to Altrincham today, with 138 operating the 12:45 Altrincham to Macclesfield.
So after 6 weeks out-of-service, it only manages 2 and a bit days in service!

Todays failure was nothing to do with the engine. Driver was concerned about smoke from rear wheel arch so called the fault in

Not sure exactly which vehicles are where today as D&G's tracking isn't showing up (WOB's didn't work the other day.) However, a Streetlite has been on one of the 88/89/188 workings today with small Enviros on all the other 88/89/188 workings.

Streetlite 156 is currently at Wincham. There is only 1 big Enviro at Wincham at the moment, 33, as 30 and 32 are away for accident repairs and 31 is at Crewe for repair to the ticket machine stand. Big Solo 138 failed this morning with gearbox issues shortly after leaving the yard and was replaced by Enviro 37.

Should have realised it was 37 with it's shabby paintwork at the top and having the large D&G logo, that's normally on the large vehicles, rather than the smaller one. 35 also stands out currently with it's new paintwork and the areas which normally remain black having gone red, when it lost it's all over advertising. I wonder if the all over advertising was to get a full repaint for free.
It still does beg the question how things will work (or not) when the CAZ for Greater Manchester starts. 4 big Enviros might sound like plenty given on a normal day that would mean one spare all day and on certain days one of the vehicles out wouldn't need to go in to the CAZ. However, it would just need a small accident at the depot to take two out of service at the same time. Then they've got to apparently ensure the other vehicles on the 88/130 are the ex-Go Goodwins ones plus one other designated Solo.

53 was indeed on 130s It replaced 137 which was put off with numerous defects. At least one driver will be pleased to see 53 at Wincham as it's his favourite Enviro.
