If they use Commanders on there then it is essentially a like for like swap, they are the same dimensions.

From what i have been told the Pulsars often scrape the floor on the Country lanes but since the Commanders ride higher its not really happening to them

Should be able to raise the ride height if that's the case. Bus Vannin's door forward StreetLites had theirs modified because of a similar issue

It's more of a grinding issue and fitting them round the tight bends and the small bridge. They do get used on the odd occasion but it is very rare. The Sapphire Enviro300s would suit it better than Pulsars but if it can be rectified by raising the ride height then it may work out. Question is can this be set for a specific batch of Pulsars by engineering or do drivers have to do it everyday? It could be messy if not set correctly. Warrington have had a heck of a lot of bodywork dents on their Cat 5/5A MMCs due to a similar issue, some look an absolute mess.

247 is all Pulsar 1s today. Will probably try one out in a couple of weeks see how they do on the route.

Lt63 uke (Gemini dw583) was on tow seemingly heading here today. Is it for use?

Hopefully, during rush hour there is much needed capacity requirements not being met by services such as the 263. I believe even with the increased allowed number of passengers there will be passengers likely to be left behind between Hulme and Stretford.

I say this from experience when I regularly got the ~16:20 263 from Manchester to Altrincham.

At Chester depot Currently. Chester have been waiting for a London bus to replace 4191 although this seems a bit new to be going on schools.

Pity wythenshawe haven't got any deckers now, they'd come in bloody handy on the 263!

It can get absolutely rammed in peak hours, some double deckers would be a better idea.
