Isnt overhanging kerbs and verges as bad as running over the kerbs , you only have to look at some bus stations where buses nose in to the stop to see how much an overhang can hang over a kerb. If this is the case for the 175 then one wonders what vehicles would be acceptable .

It is legal to overhang the front and back of your bus over the kerb but obviously the driver has to make sure he doesnt hit anything or anyone. You can pass your Cat D test by overhanging the kerbs but fail if your wheels go on the kerb/pavement.

According to the Arriva NW Facebook page, 819 will be withdrawn shortly and 886 will move to a Welsh depot. There is also no truth in the rumour that the three Presidents will be replaced by five Pulsars.
