Hey guys let me put this straight, the route 411 needs another 2 buses for the route, because it is always late at Birkenhead Bus Station, like today i got to stand 10 at 17:39 to catch the 17:42, that did not even turn up everybody was annoyed about that very much. The driver did not even apologize for being 30 minutes late.

That basically just sounds like the 17.42 had a fault, and the one at 18.12 was on time. Why would the driver apollogise for being on time?

Sadly the 411 is not a profitable enough route to run 4 buses per hour.

Hybrid 4515 was on the N450 this morning, probaby a first for a Sat morning. Usually Pulsar operated.

Let me put this logically to you. If the PVR was increased this would mean an extra bus or two on the route, making it more difficult when the depot is short. It also means changing duties, having extra drivers and more money spent on fuel. Don't forget the 411 & 409 are often late due to the four bridges being up for a passing boat. I don't see the point in wasting resources when a half hourly service is fine. This is would mean a bus every 15 minutes and it would effect the 409 service. Don't forget, many 411 users either want Seacombe served by the 409, or New Brighton, with the serve.

Unless of course the frequency was changed to 20 minutes giving extra running time and thus extra recovery time for delays - especially if there's a known spot in the bridge for creating a delay. The rest of your arguments stand though and would make such a change likely unsustainable. No need to jump on people for making suggestions though.

What Raawwwrrr! says is likely the case in the aforementioned situation L2SLT.

I'm not having a go at anybody, I am simply stating the fact that adapting the route when it is not cost efficient Wink 819 was on 18:42 yesterday too.
