May Track Access Application now on NR website. It would appear that the previous plan for one Glasgow- Liverpool to run combined with a Manchester has been dropped. In addition they will now start with a Carlisle-Liverpool and end with a Liverpool Oxenholme.
A seperate application covers a 23.10 Manchester Airport - Carlisle which NR say is an unacceptable performance risk through the Castlefield corridor.
.
Also surprisingly there will be three train pairs between Newcastle and Edinburgh, one of which will be through to/from Liverpool - I thought this was only happening much later.
.
Doesn't appear to be any caveat regarding sufficient 397s being available or Mk5s releasing 185s.
