RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - St Helens Rider - 14/11/2012 17:10

Yet again on New Years Night, only the 166, 188 and 231 are running to their normal finish times - surely there are more deserving Merseytravel contracts.

Also, services running out of Liverpool on Boxing Day appear to have the later finishes.

Having said all this, the information last year incorrect initially as HTL ran all their Evening & Sunday contracts as normal on Boxing Day/New Years Day. I noticed later reprints of the information included this information.

I do feel that more emphasis/resources should be put into Boxing Day due there being no trains. The level of services on New Years Day (with the exception of the late finishes mentioned earlier) is probably about right.

I wonder whether you have noticed on Boxing Day services operated by Arriva run later then those operated by Stagecoach.

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - MTL0201 - 01/12/2012 20:29

Even if they want to keep the search function, i wish Merseytravel would go back to the old timetable drop down format on there website, still can't get timetables up on my Mobile Phone really annoying.

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - mr t - 02/12/2012 12:23

Ive requested this be put back in, however the reply was that the site had been fully trialled before going live with customer forums, and they didnt think the list was needed as you can just type the number in, or if they are unsure use the maps that are there, or use the travelline site....
I agree i miss it too, at least you could browse what timetables there were and other services existed other than just yours!
If everyon emails merseytravel about them the may change their minds....
