Interesting to note Pennine Drive is still noted as a timing point even though no journeys serve this point now. 4: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/timetables/AllTimetables/4%20Liverpool%20ONE%20-%20Dingle%20and%20Sefton%20Park%20circular%20(from%2021%20January%202018).pdf Although this claims frequency has increased at peak times, it has actually decreased. A very similar situation to the 174. 15: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/timetables/AllTimetables/15%20Liverpool%20-%20Huyton%20(from%2021%20January%202018).pdf 18: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/timetables/AllTimetables/18%20Liverpool%20-%20Croxteth%20Park%20(from%2021%20January%202018).pdf 89: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/timetables/AllTimetables/89%20St%20Helens%20-%20Liverpool%20John%20Lennon%20Airport%20(from%2021%20January%202018).pdf 52/52A: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/timetables/AllTimetables/52%20Liverpool%20-%20Netherton%20or%20Old%20Roan%20(from%2021%20January%202018).pdf 31: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/timetables/AllTimetables/31%20St%20Helens%20-%20Parr%20(from%2021%20January%202018).pdf 34/34A: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/timetables/AllTimetables/34%20St%20Helens%20-%20Newton-le-Willows%20or%20Leigh%20(from%2021%20January%202018).pdf 38/38A: http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/timetables/AllTimetables/38%20St%20Helens%20-%20Rainford%20circular%20(from%2021%20January%202018).pdf RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - MTL0201 - 22/12/2017 23:53 Have Merseytravel stopped publishing paper bus maps, can't get hold of maps from September anywhere, but they're up online? Yes. The first area to go paperless with timetables will be St Helens (including the Bus stn) also as part of a 6 month trial RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - wirralbus - 23/12/2017 06:25 (23/12/2017 04:44)Raawwwrrr! Are you saying the timetables at stands within the bus station will disappear? The screens that passengers would refer to are unreliable with all sorts going wrong RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - b2311e - 23/12/2017 12:09 Here's the explanation from Merseytravel http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/about-us/media-centre/news/Pages/Digital-pilot-in-St-Helens-starting-January-2018.aspx RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - Bevan Price - 25/12/2017 20:19 I will probably miss the paper maps even more than the timetables, and have already made a complaint about this. If you put a full map onto a computer screen, the text is usually too small to read. If you zoom in to make the text legible, for example, it becomes a lot more difficult to follow a full route, and its relationship to neighbouring areas. Also if the 289 is still to use one bus, the potential is for the frequency to be reduced. I guess it's a case of wait and see.
