About time a quality airline that does attractive package holidays came in and broke the Eaayjet/Ryanair racket. Just need a decent transport link to the Airport now as anyone who uses the airport regular will tell you the bus links are an absolute shambles.

There are plenty of buses from the Airport to various destinations around Merseyside and all for £2 single. The only thing that I think could hold back Liverpool Airport is that some buses start too late for any flights departing before 9am (bearing in mind being at the Airport 2 hours before that makes 7am, the pre 7am buses to the Airport are dismal)

First Jet 2 aircraft is due to arrive on 25 th March followed by two more on the 26th and 27th.

The first Jet 2 flights from Liverpool Airport starting this morning were 0800 to Tenerife South and 1000 to Lanzarote.
