I have heard a figure of 10 diagrams from the May timetable change.

Northern Rail have just confirmed on their Facebook Page that 8 more Class 319s will Enter Service in May

RE: Northern Rail - T42 PVM - 22/04/2015 01:51

319361 becomes the 4th of the batch to enter Service with Northern Rail.

Just to add to your post Terence - refurbished units at Allerton that have not yet entered traffic for Northern Rail are 319364, 319367-9, 319380 and 319382. 319366 and 319379 are also with Northern Rail but they haven't been refurbished yet and are currently being used for driver and crew training prior to going to Wolverton for refurbishment. Credit to Railforums for that information

RE: Northern Rail - H101GEV - 22/04/2015 11:01

319361 has been in service since Saturday 18/04 at least when I had it on the 17.13 (IIRC) Liverpool Lime Street - Manchester Airport service. A much better ride than 362, this unit.

RE: Northern Rail - St Helens Rider - 22/04/2015 11:41

There were rumours circulating late last week that a 319 was to do a return journey on the Wigan line last Saturday (18/04), does anyone have any confirmation of this taking place?

From the previous post, it's good to see that the 319's are now making an appearance in service on the weekend.

According to a post on Railforums that service was operated by a DMU instead of a 319 due to a problem with the OHLE at Huyton

Currently major disruption to all services at Lime Street, due to a tresspass incident at Edge Hill

Person threatening to jump onto the lines from bridge in that area.
