This was just in fifteen minutes at Upholland around 2:00-15. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - MX12CFE - 22/08/2012 06:18 B7 4104 passed me on wigan rd in ormskirk last night working a 375 towards southport its now sounding like green lanes B10BLE renown 2716 very loud roaring engine could hear it from a mile away! RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - DEM777Y - 24/08/2012 08:06 Morning all, 375 route branded Volvo B7 4107 is on the 43/6 today. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - ANW 2283 - 26/08/2012 16:31 We had an afternoon between Ormskirk, Skem and Clay Brow. We rode on 3089/4100/4104. There was at least one other Pulsar out as well as 4103/5/7. Have to agree with MX12CFE that 4104 does have a magnificent roar! We heard it well before we saw it whilst waiting by the Hare and Hounds in Clay Brow. There was and enthusiast talking to the driver of a #311 in Skem bus station. He was wearing a red jacket. I had wondered if it was a forum member We also saw Cadet 2494 on a #395. Are these unusual? RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - CX54 DKD - 26/08/2012 16:33 Cadets on St Helens' interworked 352/395 are reasonably unusual, yes. It's an allocation of made up of largely Renowns and Pulsars on there usually. With the flower show passengers thrown in for good measure there was money to be made there this afternoon. That explains why 47/48/48A-branded Pulsar 2 MX10 CZF (3042) was on the 300 and freshly-repainted Marshall V637 DVU (7637) and Renown Y722 KNF (2722) were both on the 47/48 - or does it?! The driver on 7637 at about midday nearly killed it - every time he slammed his foot on the accelerator in Liverpool, of which he's well-known for(!), the bus seemed to lose its gears...! 7637 on the 47 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/michael27701s-photos/7896806988/in/photostream/ RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - M113 YKC - 31/08/2012 21:43 "Spotted in Lord Street today 31/8/12 was Olympian 3312 on route 42 to Crossens which is usually a single decker only route." RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - H101GEV - 31/08/2012 23:14 Noted three Palatines out on Southport locals yesterday (31/08): 3309 and 3310 on the 43/46, and as mentioned, the very rare sight of 3312 on the 42/44. Better yet, 3309 stayed out into the night, seen passing through Eastbank Street at around 22.10. Quite the Indian summer of use these Olympians are seeing at Southport.
