Bear in mind, Southport isn't the only depot with Darts of that age which are on the way out. I agree that Cadets will possibly be used to replace some Darts but I also expect we may see an order of further Solo SRs based upon how the examples due currently go down.

Cadets with VDL chassis from Speke are certainly a possibility, depending on how orders for that depot pan out this year. Six months or so down the line could see more new buses arriving in the North West.

All Monday to Saturday buses are now numbered 49 and now run
in a one-way, anti-clockwise loop in Ainsdale and Woodvale from
Kenilworth Road via Cherry Road, Woodvale Road and Gleneagles
Drive to Kenilworth Road.
The Monday to Friday daytime frequency is reduced to every
12 minutes and the times are changed.
Sunday Route 49A is unchanged, with buses running in a one-way
clockwise loop in Ainsdale and Woodvale.

Perhaps somebody could explain the logic of the buses going one way round a large circle in woodvale and ainsdale monday to saturday and going the other way on a sunday , why not make it easier for all to understand that they all go round the same way no matter what day of the week.

Interesting, it appears that Southport are getting some Volvo Eclipses. The first of the type to operate in Merseyside (bar Stagecoach demo 80013), as far as I know.
