Sapphire wright streetlights been looked into and possible Enviro400's. Streetlights been looked as first choice, and Enviro400 as 2nd. There is a slight debate looking to ugrade 4 and x4 and 62. To be complete by spring/summer 2015 one route will be sapphire but not sure which one. leaving a few pulsars spare to cover route 13 llandudno to prestatyn, when new buses arrive.

I suspect if its the 4/4a it will be streetlites
And 62 it will be Enviro400 deckers as the route is overcrowding in morning and afternoon evening services, using existing pulsars

822 i gather will be back.on the road soon after been nearly a year and half off road. Its been.brought back.due.to.shortage of mpd's

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor - Depotosw - 15/10/2014 14:38

Interesting choice to return to service, I would have thought 827 would have been more suitable as been off for much less time, mind both minus engines when I last saw.

You do wonder if anything could have been pulled out of Wrexham, such as 868 in the pool fleet or even something like 832 that looked complete when I saw it recently.

Engine out of 827 is been exchanged into 822 i believe as the body of.the vechlile is in a.lot better cond, its then going to be MOT'D back on road if.all.goes to plan

Thanks for the info, 822 will certainly be a very interesting comeback into service.

I highly doubt 0822 will re-enter Service with it being A W-reg considering they are fading of the V regs (except Ex London PDLs) and that X-reg will be gone in early 2015 (again with the exception of Ex London PDLs)

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor - cx04axy - 15/10/2014 21:32

We still have 2331 a brilliant bus, wait and see and that's T reg also Bangor do have a few w reg's going about. 822 was originally taken off the road. I'm very excited to see it. With a lot of deckers been put on the 4 and 62 and releasing cadets leaving Bangor short is costing the business a lot of money, so I suppose making use of what you got and coming out of a situation saving money is key. I'm not Arriva management nor an expert in logistics but its possible slight common sense

Are 4186 - 91 all at Bangor? I think I saw a photo of one at Rhyl.
