RE: Merseyrail - jtd508110 - 26/09/2012 16:28

507002 was not on 17:26 from moorfields

RE: Merseyrail - First Class - 26/09/2012 16:44

Ellesmere Port line now only operating Hooton-Ellesmere Port
Chester line is a bus Hooton-Chester

Hooton-Rock Ferry currently suspended

Rock Ferry-Liverpool-Rock Ferry shuttle service running.

This is due to severe flooding.

RE: Merseyrail - jtd508110 - 26/09/2012 16:49

507002 was on 17:44 from sandhills with 508124

RE: Merseyrail - H101GEV - 26/09/2012 18:50

Some photos of 507002 at Southport and Hunts Cross here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/prodpep/sets/72157631629892871/.

Had a couple of rides on 002, and it was generally a good ride. Carriage 64406 has quite a rough suspension, while 64368's was making a sort of moaning sound. It's turn of speed was very good though and it was presentable. So, an 8/10 for 507002.

Sadly 507002 and 508111 didn't form a 6 car for evening peak, even though 508111 was running directly in front off-peak.

Also, many thanks for reporting 507002 as being in service, dave4jackie.

That whining sound is the same one that I have noticed on 507010 and on mark 3 coaches, its air pockets I think. I liked it a lot. Doors were not sticky, acceleration was good and interior was good too. Can't wait for it to be paired with its brother, 001 and 508111 will look good with it in a 6 car. Any ideas as to what its on tommorow?

RE: Merseyrail - H101GEV - 26/09/2012 20:29

Noticed 507010 doing that earlier in the day when it terminated from Ormskirk at Moorfields. A loud moaning; can't really say I'm a fan.

I wonder what causes it on the 507s?
