Thanks for posting that Andy. Just checked the MTT site and as per last year, they are running a 319/89 feeder service. Departing Ormskirk at 0850, arriving St Helens 0936, 89 departing St Helens 0945, arriving South Parkway 1035. Hopefully there will be a corresponding journey in the afternoon/early evening. I know the return last year was quite well loaded and included quite a few members of this here forum - hope to see everyone there again this year.

If anyone went to Heaton Park today you would have seen L504 TKA (6504) there with the Merseyside Transport Trust sign in the front this is the latest bus to be in the collection at Burscough

RE: Merseyside Transport Trust - St Helens Rider - 01/09/2013 21:41

6504 appeared to have a complete set on Lancashire Travel blinds fitted. I wondered whose this vehicle was as didn't check in windscreen. Previous owner had an address in Kent.

MTT sales stand was also in attendance (presumably transported by 6504). Programmes for next week's running day were on sale.

Sales stand is transported by van to the different shows

Here is a couple of pics I took of 6504 yesterday:

6504 seen on the East Lancs Road with 1070 passing (6504 heading back to Burscough)

6504 parked on East Lancs Road heading for Burscough

6504 seen parked up at Trans Lancs Rally

Another good running day today, my day went as follows:

MPTE Panther 1054 from St Helens to LSP 89
Chesterfield Atlantean 124 LSP to City Centre 82
Break for Lunch
Ribble Olympian 2101 Mann Island to LSP H25 (although displaying A25 - probably no H's on Ribble blinds)
National Express 771 LSP to Mann Island H25
Merseybus Atlantean 1003 Mann Island to LSP 87 (displaying 87A)
Merseybus Dodge 7685 LSP Circular 188
MPTE Panther LSP to St Helens 89

All vehicles were good. Favourites are Chesterfield 124 and Ribble 2101.

Many thanks and well done to all involved.

Thanks to everyone at MTT - another great day. I atually managed not to ride a single Atlantean!

Not being picky, but the Chesterfield bus is a Fleetline.

SD.
