To be pedantic, they will actually be running 'on hire' to Vale Travel as the O discs displayed will carry the name of Vale Travel and its licence number, even if the vehicle itself is in GHA livery and/or carrying GHA legal lettering.

'The newest buses in Warrington' sounds like they're indirectly confirming the new Metrocities will be on that route.

Their version of the new 45 timetable is interesting:

They've got 45C services on there running to Mid-Cheshire College via John Deanes College, while the 17:40 Northwich-Warrington only appears to run beyond Great Budworth if requested. Even the final stop (Warrington Interchange) is shown as On Request Only.

The new Metrocitys were always destined for Warrington (Think Ron made that point a long time ago) i have just seen a photo of YJ15AWN with its vinyls etc applied and by god does it look awful.

The new livery of the MetroCity can be found here

Thing is, though, they only have 2 MetroCities (MetroCity's?) but the 45/45A/16/16A will require 3 buses (I think, from a quick look at the timetables). Then there'll be a need for a further bus for the 45C college days bus. So there must be at least one other vehicle out each day, unless they buy some more new ones.

The main 45 and 16's are all interowrked on a 3 bus cycle and there is a 3rd bus earmarked for the same branding and treatment as the MetroCitys, but for a short time the 3rd bus will be a DAF SB120.

The extra college 45C journeys are to be worked with a Plaxton Interurban fitted with a ETM and destination display, normally R636.

I don't understand why the buses were delivered in GHA Gold base colours and then they go for a non-GHA Gold livery. The Solo SRs for Nantwich services have the wi-fi and leather seats but have the new standard GHA livery, but then maybe they didn't want a livery that can't be mistaken for a Network Warrington bus.
