Merseyside's Oldest Bus - T42 PVM - 20/07/2012 23:00

now that HTL L reg step dart has been withdrawn what is the oldest bus currently in passenger service? think this feed would be great so we can compare the oldest from each company in order to work out the oldest (this does not count school buses or event buses)

Stagecoach's oldest is a toss-up between the P-YCW Crusaders and the P-AYJ Pointers.

That's been withdrawn for months! Their oldest (mini)bus in service is step-entranced Vario R192 DNM (6).

S284NRB was on the road recently but must have broke down again! the merc may not class as a stage carriage bus as it is only employed on the free asda shuttle in huntscross and as far as i know it it not used on stage carriage because of its steps and limited seating.

S284 NRB has been SORN with the DVLA for an extended period - it has not been on the road recently.
