No worries.....I've no doubt that I'll be up again! Superb collection there, seems I was in the right place at the right time today!
A couple of surprises in the depot as well....1689 JWM689P was unexpected, are the plans for this known yet and also never knew Olympian WDL692Y was there too!

1689 arrived about october last year and thats about it which is a shame. Yep thats been with us for a while now but like 1689 not much has been done. You were indeed, seeing the national come out of the shed was just amazing. She looks much better now shes had a wash and had logos applied

Progress Update 23/12/2012- Work carried on with my namesake with the 2 rear corner pannels removed in readiness for new ones to be fitted. General shuffle about took place to allow MPTE Leyland National Mk1 1000(7000) to emerge from the workshop area under her own power for the first time in 10 years and what a sight she is. Wallasey 1 was moved into the now vacant workshop slot to allow repainting back into the same livery for the 2013 Rally Season.
Volvo B6/Plaxton Pointer 7227 has been away at Forge Engineering In Moreton for a Chassis/Engine Steam Clean and Corrosion prevention paint applied to the underside.
Thats all from me for now. K853 Might update on Boxing Day but thats down to him.

At least 1689 is safe now! Does Southport 83 get out at all? would love to see this out & about!

Thats the main thing, its saved and is under cover. 83 has had a few issues with its fuel tank hence why 2 of its lower pannels are removed. Not much has been done on it for a while due to other projects like KMN501s Conversion to L428 and 0302

On behalf of myself and the trustees and members at the NWVRT, I'd just like to wish you all a merry Christmas. And we look forward to seeing you at one of our many events in 2013.

Re Southport 83
As Jordan has mentioned it has had fuel problems which hopefully are now sorted out and it needs me to refit the side panels which were removed and sort out a few other small jobs ready for MOT. I've been concentrating on rebuilding the body on my Matador tow truck (which is elsewhere ) over the last few months which along with work hasn"t left me much time to get round to finishing it off. Despite 83 having a layer of dust on it I know it is well looked after at Kirkby.
