According to Graham Brady, 100 nominations are needed for a candidate to be entered into the leadership contest, which closes at 2pm on Monday with final result (the successor) being announced next Friday.
Rather worryingly, it is hinted that Boris Johnson might stand again, although known candidates so far are the former Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, and the current Leader of The House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt

Well so far, Penny Mordaunt has confirmed she is running in the leadership contest, making her the first (and at the time of writing this) the only candidate to do so.
Let's not forget Mr. Johnson himself is under investigation right now regarding him potentially misleading the house.

Rishi Sunak has now declared publicly that he will run for the role of Prime Minister.
So far, the current tally between Mordaunt, Sunak, and Johnson (the third has yet to claim themselves that they are running) are (at the time of writing this, with sources from BBC News)
Sunak: 141
Johnson: 56 (EDIT: Confirmed to be not participating, according to Johnson himself he had 102 votes)
Mordaunt: 23
It is said that Johnson has already hit the required target of 100 signatures, although Sunak supporters demand proof ahead of tomorrow, when nominations close.

There is a point coming soon , where the figures are going to become unassailable for the other two to overtake , its whether they bow out gracefully or not

It's now been confirmed that Johnson is not participating in the leadership contest, meaning that votes will likely go between Sunak and Mordaunt.

Rishi Sunak will succeed Liz Truss as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, he becomes the first British Asian to do so and the youngest since Lord Liverpool in 1812.
This follows with Penny Mordaunt dropping out of the leadership contest.
