Driver pulled across two lanes away from the station without signalling and cut up a motorist who had to brake sharply to avoid collision. to add insult to injury driver got off coach to abuse the motorist, blocking both lanes of traffic for several minutes. TfW should perhaps look at factors other than cost when awarding contracts... would not have felt safe if I'd been on the coach with that driver

If you were there to photograph buses and caught any evidence either unintentionally or purposely then the police may like a copy of it. Cheshire Police recently shared a compilation of bad driving clips sent to them on social media, with the caption of the road is for everyone.

Only excuse for a driver not signalling when there's other road users around is because the signal was faulty and they weren't aware of it.

I've not seen it for a while but when First Rail Replacement were organising replacement buses they all displayed a First Group branded RRB banner and number on the front windscreen.

It depends on what signage the coach put up. Some companies have an Abellio headed A4 sheet which has the stopping list. Some operators just have the duty number. Not sure why it's done that way to be honest with you. At a bare minimum though, the driver should always have a 4 digit duty number displayed in the windscreen.

I never realised the WAG trains had ever had full restaurant facilities in the past

RE: Transport for Wales Rail - mikestone - 12/11/2021 19:15

That'll have been interesting on the ones worked by assorted 153s, 158s and 175s.
.
The mk4 / 67 reliability is nowhere near adequate to advertise a dining service. Only 1W96 hauled today.
