Yesterday on the Chester to Liverpool service was 153309/306/329 working as a three car train! Very unusual motive power.

I would say it's normally a mix of 150s, 158s and 175s not just 175s.

153312 and 153333 were operating the Lime Street to Chester service today.

153326 in TFW rylivery and 153327 in East Midlands livery with TFW decals were on the Chester to Liverpool service today.

These liveries read the wrong way round. Also of interesting news is that 153326 is now running round as 153926. Assume it's got something to do with DDA mods.

I understand all of the non-compliant Class 153s with TfW Rail are being reclassified as Class 153/9s

153353 has been route learning today between Chester, Birkenhead North TMD and Bidston.

There are also 4 class 230s at Birkenhead North Depot for fitters/driver training.
