Arriva seem to have two St Nicholas High routes and I have seen deckers coming out of Greenbank Lane in the morning

Thanks for that. Looking at the B7 allocations on weekdays, they do seem to be largely between school times so it makes sense.

They are only supposed to be used on schools same as Birkenhead ones with the Speke ones used on the University,

Those at Speke do appear on other routes.

Laird Street haven’t got any schools. The B7s are supposed to be rail stand-by but regularly get used on normal service work, best bet is usually the 409 or 410 but they can appear on anything.

What's the likelihood of D&G buying Winsford and closing Wincham?

I'm surprised Arriva are saying the 84 will go, as that could be easily operated from Chester depot.

I'm surprised 84 is listed but what's stopped D&G operating it considering they have a depot in Crewe? In fact what's stopped D&G taking on most of the services that will be withdrawn.

The link from Northwich/Winsford to Leighton Hospital surely will be missed especially for people who have appointments at Leighton Hospital.

In fact looking at what's proposed to be withdrawn it will surely leave Winsford without any bus services unless D&G plan on taking on any of the services over.

Stagecoach may have a interest in taking the 84?

Presumably because if Arriva have declining passenger numbers and aren’t covering their overheads, D&G would be mad to do the same (without subsidy)
