They bought the bus operation but Go Goodwin's have decided to start up their own new bus operation - similar to Stagecoach buying bus operations from Bullocks and then Bullocks running the 147 afterwards.

Not quite.
Bullocks sold all of their commercial bus operations to stagecoach retaining the 147 and NHS contracts along with many schools etc. So stagecoach knew bullocks were retaining the 147 etc.

Goodwins sold their bus operation because they wanted to concentrate on coach work. They even suggested very publicly that the bus operations were effecting their reputation as a coach operator because often bus passengers would leave poor feedback if a service they were operating was late due to circumstances beyond their control - which effected coach bookings etc. So they sold out to Rotala only to start again.
They must have a good working relationship with Rotala though as they often loan them buses.

If Goodwins have spare buses and Rotala need them then it makes buisness sense to loan them and earn a bit of revenue along the way rather than being sat around not earning its keep.

A fairly recent arrival and in the white based Manchester Bee livery is a new in 2007 MAN Beulas coach and it carries the registration 33 EXG. Would appreciate if anyone has further details on it's history.

From when I was down at the yard the other week I noticed that there's a number of vehicles that carry The Manchester Bee company name on them including one of the Yellow Schoolbuses, seems Goodwins trade under a few names now.

I think that one came from Chester's coaches

Presumably this vehicle again, but an Optare Solo seen on the 84/84A today (11th June) with Little Gem fleetnames and fleet number 1952 and registered WEZ 737.
