I had #55 today, and allthough the "new" moquette seats looked the part, it was a bit of a slow performer! The day 2 solos break down and #20 comes into play, I shall be happy!

In that case, I hope they can wind side and back to blank.
The display units are the things which the public automatically look at, so it would be nice to have them in some kind of shape, even if not actually working..

Not so slow that it can't keep to the schedule, I hope? :P

You can't wind down an electric powerblind, the ones on the bus ypu ate thinking of have been broken fot a good few years

Loadings for the 26/26a are as expected.
Similar to before, except a few more passengers with the bus being half hourly
The 4.05/4.19/5.05pm duties do not collect the same revenue as the old 4.36 cronton college to widnes.

I'm a bit disapointed #55-7 were retrimmed however, but they show their age more than #20 I feel

I'm sure there must be a way of getting rid of those half 7's without breaking the laws of physics!

I must agree that the #55 is terrible (rode it on Monday), whereas the #56 is slightly better (rode it yesterday), it seems to navigate corners much easier and just generally runs better and is a little bit quieter. I still don't understand why a special college 26/A (or even a seperate B) service doesn't run for those finishing Cronton College at around 4.30? I mean, they have a special morning service, why not an evening service?

Hmm fine then, 3rd attempt?

The new livery looks nice.

In regards to the solos, I have to say 56 seems much better, prefer 20 personally to all of the solos. On another note, I belive 40 was involved in a accident on thursday night, I seen it coming from Liverpool on liverpool road in chestnut lodge with a panal missing on the side and a bit of a scratch, it was able to return to the depot under its own power without the tow truck, didnt see the yellow vauxhall fleet surrport vechile but a mechanic was driving so I presume it must of been on seen.
