Yet to see more than 10 passengers on a Halton bus so that is unusual

It’s the same with every company, some journeys are full, some run empty.

The 61 is one of Haltons most economically profitable services and has been since its incarnation

Just on a slightly different note.if the franchising came to the Liverpool city region from which I've heard could happen according to this new pro franchising councillor is it only open to bus companies within the city region or can outsiders bid also?

Whilst EU rules apply, I think that contracts for "public bodies" have to be open to bids from anyone (other than criminals, etc.)

I think so but since Scania 93 has been written off they might be planning to keep this in service

There's a feature on Halton scheduled for the January issue of "Buses".
