Loadings on the 14A looking a lot more healthy since the 79c went down to half-hourly.

It's getting about a fair bit considering what it's branded for, made it onto the 62 again the other day.

Scania #89 has been refurbished and repainted, completing the batch.

I'm glad that the whole batch is finally refurbished. I resisted the temptation to ride one in Widnes in January, but am certain to ride one in Liverpool in September.

If you can, try and ride either #80 or #93 as these are the best of the batch although #84 and #88 are also not bad. Don't get me wrong none of them are excellent buses by any stretch of the imagination but personally being subjected to them on a daily basis I've come to develop some favourites, however I wouldn't blame anyone for having them down as awful buses.

Does anybody know why they rerouted the 14B?

Also, I wonder how long it will be before the 200 is scrapped. Reduced to an hourly frequency and pretty much runs dead all day?

If council funding is cut for the service, another service such as the 14, 61 or short 62 would probably have to be extended as no other service operates to Daresbury Sci-tech park and it's quite a long and dangerous walk to the nearest X30 stop (which is also Hourly).

Dont some 62s already serve it as well?
