I think these are just positioning journeys as vehicles finish on the 62(A) at Warrington then run back to Widnes, so they probably only need an average of about 1 passenger to make it worthwhile running them in service.
If they had the resources available and wanted to make some money, it might be worth looking into later 110's from Murdishaw towards Warrington because Arriva's last one from Murdishaw is around half past 5 ... In the past, I've had to get a 17 to Farnworth and then switch to a 7 to get back from Widnes in the early evening.

Something I've never understood is why some later 7s aren't routed through Widnes, I myself have had to do this in the past.

I completely agree and in fact have written to Arriva in the past to make this suggestion.
It would only take a few more minutes and it does seem like there's enough slack in the timetable to allow for it to happen.

There was a incident of some sort involving a myllenium today near the old town with a large police presence around the bus.

Rare appearance by 20 in Wavertree today, it was headed for Liverpool at about 18:40, presumably on a 14.

Was on the 14c earlier in the day so must have been swapped on at some point for a scania.

Reports that Stagecoach have eventually purchased Halton and the takeover will happen early 2016

I'm not saying these 'reports' are false, but I think it's wise not to post such things without proof. Who knows who could be seeing this!

A year later and this rumour is coming around again...it's one of them believe it when you see official proof ones

Straight from the horses mouth. Thats proof enough for me.
