I was on it earlier. Plaxtons seem to get a bad press from drivers but from a passenger's view I was quite impressed. Warm, interesting moquette seats and rattle-free.

I driven it on rails last week and its a pleasure to drive.

Telford garage where it came from did a lot of work on the batch to sort out the rattles etc when they first transferred in.

4170 has just failed on the 52A at Gorsey Lane. Looks like the front suspension has collapsed.

Looks like 2942 has been involved in an Rta by the Black Bull. Not a good 24 hours for ANW when you consider the incident on Prescot Road yesterday involving a GL or SH bus which sadly resulted in a fatality.

There was a 3rd on Friday when one of the new deckers demolished a bus shelter on the 62
