Get rid of the worst from both is another option. Id like to see 2455, 2459, 2467, 2471, 2409 and 2411all bite the dust.
I would add 2458 to that list as well. Personal opinion of course.

Just because 2409 was showing NFS (#1173) doesn't mean it's withdrawn, as I posted 2410 was in service the next day!

2551, 2576 and 2720 all worked on the 6/7 yesterday.

The 6/7 were free of 14-plated Pulsar 2s today - 2551, 2557, 2576, 2674, 2718, 2903, 3068, 3071 and a 13-plated Pulsar 2 (possibly 3151) were all on there at about midday.
I had 2557 from Warrington to Liverpool on the 6 this evening, which arrived about 15 minutes late (but that was to be more-or-less expected at rush hour). However, it didn't take me long to notice that the speed at which the bus was capable of was absolutely appalling. It managed to get through every gear before it reached 20-MPH and once it got into fourth gear it wouldn't go back up a gear until practically coming to a stop (although the gear selector may have solved that issue). It seemed to have its revs set very low. Every incline was painful (even struggling to get to 20-MPH when travelling up the bridge over the A557 on Derby Road in Cronton) as the bus simply didn't have any "go" in it (no exaggeration whatsoever). When alighting, I noticed that a coolant dashboard light was flashing and there were fumes at the back throughout my journey.

2229 is on 10B lates tonight - not the best bus for lates when bigger (and better-quality!) buses are sitting in the depot!
2237 has been on the 6/7, even on a 7A to Warrington this evening (although I suspect that it would have ran back to the depot dead from Warrington like 2720 did on Friday of last week). 2716 and 2717 have been on the 18 today.

2345 is on a 10B late board tonight after spending most of its day on there. 2551 and 2556 were also on the 10B in the afternoon.
2574 was on the 6/7 today. 2576 is on an 18 late board.
