I have had further information that suggests a lot of changes are to occur in terms of allocations over the weekend, at the moment I only have part of them but here goes:-
Volvo B7RLE's to MR from BN, BY & OM for Metrolink Replacement on the Eccles Line
4 Dennis Arrows at Wigan temporarily withdrawn for the Summer
B10BLE's Y942/4CSF Transfered perminantly from Wigan to Queens Road
A whole pile of B10B's transfered from Ince to Wigan as perminant transfers and a few Dart SLF's also transfered from Bolton to Wigan as perminant transfers.
Serveral Arrows at Ince temporarily withdrawn for the summer period along with all Vehixel Schoolbuses at Ince and Ashton.
More to follow

Wigan is losing its entire allocation of B10BLE's. Ince's Ex Knowsley Olympians are heading to Queens Road 40400 has already arrived from Bolton has been sighted on the 598 good to see a Bus coming home from Bolton as this bus was swapped for the excels in August 06 wasn't it? All Merseyside Operations by First Manchester are Cancelled so all schools contracts have been lost or given up.
I Have the Metrolink Replacement timetable and i really am praying Finglands and Stagecoach are running Extra Services for the Football and Cricket at Old Trafford this month and also the Ashes T20 as i already know Stagecoach are operating a 255C for the concerts at Old Trafford. I'll update on this on Wednesday when i go the Football.

Its not losing its B10BLE allocation at this stage, the PSV Circle only has a list of the two above moving out and there may be an outcry if fullsize vehicles are replaced with Darts or Step entrance B10B's, in practice the B10B's moved to Wigan several months ago and have been in any case on day to day loan from Ince so they are not really replacements for anything.
There is no plans as yet for the Olympian's to move on, QS cannot use those deckers as they do not have upper deck security camera's which is amust at Queens Road, that is why deckers where transfered out of there in the first instance, instead what isexpected is M401-407RVU enbloc to transfer to First Glasgow or Edinburgh and P291-296KPX to transfer enbloc to Bolton and Bury to take their places.
The Merseyside Contracts were all lost on retender, and some of the other work at Ince hangings in the balance, although some has been re-won at least their is an outside possibility that Ince Depot may close if they are not successful at winning the remaining contract work, we will find out in the next few weeks wether Ince are successful or not.

Lea Worral of Queens Road depot reports the Oly's are leaving Ince for QR on Gm Yahoo group. Will try to go past Ince Depot tomorrow when they are due to transfer out.

Lea Worral though apparently is not always acurate about all the reports he makes and any planned transfers must be taken with a pinch of salt, other staff within First have told me this before. Those Olympians cannot operate certainly long term from Ince as the requirement is upper deck CCTV, the only thing they might be able to use them on is Metrolink contract work, although they could be swapped for B9TL's with another depot perhaps Bolton or Oldham.
For a start the issue of Wigan losing B10BLE's totally has holes in it, what happens with the 540 and 658 they are too busy to use Dart SLF's on all journeys and are also low floor registered with the PTE so cannot use B10B's on all journeys either, so unless something like Citaro's or Scania's or B7RLE's are coming from elsewhere then Wigan will not be losing many B10BLE's.

Ah Ah I've got to the bottom of this, these are temporary movements while the Eccles Line is closed and will then be used on replacement services for the Oldham Loop, also moved are several of the M---RVU's from Bolton and Bury Depots, initially they are for use on the 33 amongst other services. In the longer term vehicles will be disposed of, out of the Manchester Section (2-3 years down the line).
So apologies
In terms of Wigan I haven't got to the bottom yet of the vehicle situation although there are rumours about a substantial batch of cast off Low Floor Saloons being due, thought to be the entire batch of 30 Volvo B10BLE's with Alexander ALX300 bodies from Aberdeen or some other oddities from elsewhere, all these may be for Wigan thus displacing other types elsewhere in the autumn.
There are not enough Dart SLF's free elewhere to make enough low-floor replacements and also they are too small especially when the 598 may also need full size saloons as the 652 is being withdrawn on top of the 540 and 658, High Floors are not acceptable as they are registered with the PTE as most journeys being operated by Low Floor Buses, so something has to give, so yes the batch of 30 from Aberdeen is possibly very likely or alterbnatively something else that is odd and surplus and maybe none standard hence why Wright bodied Volvo B10BLE's would leave Wigan, maybe half of Bury's Citaro's or perhaps just further B7RLE's perhaps straight off the Metrolink replacement duties, other possibilities might be Scania's sourced from Bury and perhaps also from First PMT as service cuts bite there and B7RLE';s from Chester arrive at Adderley Green, so lets wait and see what comes, the remaining Wright bodied B10BLE's other than Y942/4CSF will not move until September.

Here are some futher details about Olympians
All of Oldhams LWB Olympians have transfered to Ashton
All Dennis Arrows at Ashtonm are temporarily withdrawn
All Boltons Olympians are transfered to MR along with a couple of P reg LWB's from Ince
All of Bury's M reg Olympians also to MR but one of Burys N reg Olympians temporarily withdrawn
All of Wigans perminant Arrow Allocation Temporarily withdrawn
Some of Ince's Arrow Allocation Temporarily withdrawn
A Step entrance Dart and an 04 registered Vehixel perminantly withdrawn from Ashton
Y942/4CSF transfered from WN to MR as planned
A Batch of about 9 B7RLE's from BY and OM to MR for Metrolink Work
Many reallocations that are currently taking place relate to Metrolink Work and the School Holidays and some of these will change or be reversed in September, eg Delicenced Arrows at Wigan and Ashton will probably be reinstated and some decker allocations will be reversed from MR and AN but possibly not back to the same depots as before. The B7RLE clump may transfer from MR to WN rather than back to the home depots or onward to OM await further news in September.

UPDATE
34291-34296 P291-296KPX I very much doubt any of these have transfered to Queens Road as I have just seen 34295 P295KPX working out of Wigan Depot on a 32. Also of note about this bus is that it carries none standard Fleet Number Fonts that are in large Italic setting.

Bendys on the Move:-
It appears that 10000-10014 may be in the process of being moved/transfered, I was in Bolton this afternoon (Today, Friday) and I saw T508JNA being driven past were the old depot used to be with Trade Plate 560DW in the window, and with two drivers onboard so obviously tavelling some distance, it went towards Daubhill and presumably up to the M61, later I went past the garage on Weston Street and saw 10003 S994UJA appearing like it was awaiting collection outside the workshops. So I wonder were these are going, the trade plate is a Wolverhampton issued one by the looks of it, but the driving staff were both First Staff and were in full company uniform.
