It is expected that some may receive some form of Saltaire blue for sleepers and the Fife Circle.

Hi All,
Assuming this pic really is 67010
http://rtranmer.fotopic.net/p57138950.html
it looks as if it is Wrexham & Shropshire livery, rather than a Wessex livery.

DB Schenker 66085 was hauling up the First Scotrail Caledonian Sleeper this morning around 3 hour & 30 minutes late, because the class 90 First Scotrail was dead.

If the service was that late normally the powers that be will terminate the train short of London Euston and move the passengers forward on service trains , which then allows the sleepers to be moved directly onto Wembley for servicing rather than cluttering up Euston Station.

I've been told if its over 1 1/2 hours late they should be transferred to Passenger trains as Euston becomes very cluttered after this time.

May I remind you that Transport Scotland say it has no intenion to include the sleeper service in the saltiring...
Your correspondence relates to Scottish Ministers decision to create and implement a unified ScotRail brand across all ScotRail trains and stations and, specifically, any proposals to rebrand the Caledonian Sleeper service. Under the previous re-branding arrangements, trains and stations were re-branded whenever the Scotrail franchise operator changed. These arrangements did not offer value for money. The unified brand was created to improve the efficiency of current maintenance budgets by ensuring money is spent on train liveries and station signage which will not be replaced before its life cycle ends. The preparatory work involved in ensuring both train and station branding is aligned with normal maintenance and repainting cycles requires regular, close, discussions with our industry partners. Through these discussions, we have recently engaged with First ScotRail on the possibility of rebranding the exterior livery of the Sleeper services. However, given the cost neutral policy of the rebranding scheme combined with the fact that a Sleeper service interior replacement programme was recently completed, we are not currently reviewing plans for interior replacement.
I hope this information is helpful.

58009 has been noted at Dollands Moor today. It is on its way from Eastleigh to France on hire in connection with TGV line construction.

59205 was hauled north tonight from Wembley to Warrington. Tomorrow it is due to haul 6F78 Warrington to Liverpool Bulk Terminal and 6F84 loaded return to as far as Walton Old Junction. This trial is to assess whether Class 59s can take over these workings from Class 60s.
