This operation was acquired by FirstGroup during July 2007 and although they are using some of the former ChesterBus fleet for now, they haven't acquired any yet, nor the depot.
It has been suggested that FirstGroup may well buy some of the Dart SLFs and Scania/Wright though exactly what and when remains unknown.
For the monent the routes are still being operated seperately from Firsts own Chester depot though I guess this will be integrated shortly when vehicles with 5 digit fleetnumbers arrive from within the First empire to replace former ChesterBus vehicles.
Some of the first casualties of First were the Marshall Minibuses which were all handed back to Chester City Council within days of them taking control!
UPDATE FROM 08/08/2005
Chester City Transport have now rebranded as ChesterBus and now have a revised livery.
Neil Jones reports that Darts 51 - 53, 58 & 59 along with Marshall Minis 249 & 250!
